Service Requirements
- High Speed Internet Connection: A high speed Internet connection is required to use the Apptix Voice service. High-speed cable or DSL connection to the Internet is preferred. For larger offices with many users, you may require additional bandwidth than you currently have.
- Bandwidth: The amount of bandwidth your organization needs will vary depending on both your current Internet usage and the number of calls being made at the same time. (Typically, voice traffic requires 85Kbps of bandwidth per call.)
Click here to test your Internet upload and download speeds with our free Speed Test! - Apptix Voice Certified Telephones: IP telephones are also needed to use the service. A software-based (softphone) IP phone on a PC equipped with a microphone and headset is an option.

This router will enable you to best utilize your existing bandwidth and maximize your voice quality by prioritizing voice traffic over data traffic on your network.
