System Requirements For Windows Mobile Exchange

ActiveSync for Windows Mobile supports all Microsoft Windows Mobile devices, e.g. Pocket PC and SmartPhones. You must be a subscriber of the Apptix hosted Exchange email services to activate ActiveSync, and you will need to provide your own Windows Mobile device and carrier service. Our customers typically purchase these from their chosen mobile phone carrier.

System requirements include:

  • Wireless Internet access on the mobile device (may require separate subscription from your wireless carrier: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, etc.)
  • To enable ActiveSync on Palm OS devices, you must install the Exchange for ActiveSync Update for Palm OS® available from www.palm.com
  • Active Apptix hosted email Exchange service account
  • NOTE: Versa-Mail users on Treo devices using ActiveSync are supported on a “best efforts” basis
