• High Speed Internet Connection: Apptix can help you determine if additional bandwidth may be needed.
• Bandwidth: The amount of bandwidth your organization needs will vary depending on both your current Internet usage and the number of calls being made at the same time. (Typically, voice traffic requires 85Kbps of bandwidth per call.) Check your bandwidth.
  
• Apptix Voice Certified Telephones: IP telephones are also needed to use the service. A software-based (softphone) IP phone on a PC equipped with a microphone and headset is an option.

• Supported Call Router: A voice traffic router is recommended. This router will enable you to best utilize your existing bandwidth and maximize your voice quality by prioritizing voice traffic over data traffic on your network.
