David Ehrhardt

Career Highlights: David brings an extensive history of corporate leadership to his position at Apptix, including his prior role as Chief Operating Officer at Spheris, Inc. a $210M company that provided technology solutions for the healthcare market. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer, and earlier CFO, of HealthScribe, Inc., which he helped to steer through an acquisition by Spheris in December 2004. Earlier in his career, he was the CFO of CompuCare and spent several years at Ernst & Young.

Chris Mack
Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities: Oversight and management of Finance Accounting, Tax, Legal, Human Resources, and internal IT functions
Career Highlights: Chris draws on his breadth of experience in guiding the finance and operations functions at Apptix. He joined Apptix from Anystream, where he provided financial guidance as CFO. Prior to that, he held the positions of CFO and Senior Vice President of Operations for Spheris, CFO of HealthScribe, and President and CFO of ITC Learning Corporation. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience managing the finances and operations of public companies and spearheading Debt and Equity offering as well as Mergers & Acquisitions activities.

Joy Nemitz
Chief Marketing Officer
Responsibilities: Directing the Product Management and Marketing functions
Career Highlights: Joy applies her strategic and tactical marketing experience when developing revenue-driven marketing policies for Apptix. Prior to joining Apptix, she served as SVP of Market Development for TARGUSinfo, a customer intelligence solutions provider. Joy’s previous executive positions include EVP of Business Development & Marketing for Synchross, VP of International business for VeriSign, and SVP of Sales & Marketing for Scoreboard, Inc.

Aubrey Smoot
Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Responsibilities: Managing partner channel and sales activities
Career Highlights: Aubrey has over 20 years experience in senior Sales and Business Development roles, fully equipping him to oversee programs, recruitment, training, and management of all sales related activity for Apptix. Aubrey’s experience is anchored at “blue chip” firms such as KPMG, HP, and Rational Software/IBM. From there he has held several senior management roles in early-stage technology companies.

Don Hughes
Senior Vice President, Customer Management
Responsibilities: Overseeing all aspects of customer relationships as head of the Account Management and Customer Service teams
Career Highlights: Customers benefit from Donnie’s wide-ranging experience as he works to hone their Apptix experience. Prior to joining Apptix, Donnie was a Divisional Vice President of Operations for Spheris, Inc., a company that provided technology solutions for the healthcare market. Previously, he served as Vice President of Transcription Services of HealthScribe, Inc. Before joining HealthScribe, Donnie served 27 years in the United States Army, culminating in his assignment as the Warrant Officer of the Corp for the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving as the Senior Legal Administrator in the US Army.

Johan Lindqvist
Chairman of the Board
Johan was appointed Chairman of the Board of Apptix in 2007. He is also the Managing Director of Investa Företagskapital AB, a Swedish venture fund. From 2004 to 2006, Johan was the CEO for TeleComputing ASA. He served as the managing director of TeleComputing Sweden AB from 2001 to 2004. Since 1996, Mr. Lindqvist held various positions in Alfaskop AB, including serving as the CEO from 1999 to 2001. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Industrial Economy) from the Technical University in Linkøping, Sweden.
